Sony Professional and Ateksis were support sponsors of the International “Health Education Congress” held for the first time on 8-10 March at Pendik Green Park Hotel in order to introduce Opsigate Archive Management System.
During the congress attended by the Minister of Health, Undersecretary of Health, Istanbul Provincial Health Director, a number of members from Parliamentary Health Commission, a great number of senior officials, and leading names in the medical field, the topics on the agenda such as the history, today and future of the health education, as well as full-day law were discussed. Also new tools in the health technology were mentioned at the congress, and the Sony Opsigate Archive Management System was seen as a development that will provide significant contributions in health education. Akihisa Obara, the Head of Business Group at Sony Content Management, made a presentation titled ‘Importance of Content Management at Health Education – Ohio State University Experience’ during the session of ‘New Approaches and Tools at Health Education’ of the congress. The Opsigate system used in Ohio State University and the innovations provided in medical education drew great interest during the presentation. It was proved that a highly significant step would be taken for the health education with this system where surgical operations could be recorded in HD quality, any related documents could be associated with such records, and such records could be accessed easily. During the congress which is planned to be held biennially, Ateksis was awarded with an appreciation plaque for its support sponsorship.
