Ateksis and Ozkan Production in Big Brother Turkey Studios!

Growing into a phenomenon with record TV ratings in 120 countries it is aired, the TV show Big Brother has managed to attract attention of the Turkish audience, as well. Providing 24/7 broadcast since its inception, Big Brother's Turkey home is equipped with Sony cameras by Ateksis and Ozkan Production.


The Turkish version of Big Brother, which has been aired in 120 countries with more than 320 seasons and watched by 60 million people around the world in 2014, is furnished with Turkey's largest TV show studio on 3 thousand square meters. Residing for 100 days in a studio morphed into a house and exerting efforts to thrive as a result of games that require physical force and skills, one of the contestants gets to scoop the grand award at the end of 100 days. The show, which features ever-changing rules and thrill to the fullest, stands for a social life phenomenon rather than a TV show. The Turkish version of Big Brother has ranked among the world's top ones.

Serving as the producer of Big Brother Turkey, Ozkan Production's executive Tuncay Özkan speaks of a well-functioning team effort in cooperation with Ateksis as a solution partner throughout the project and says: "Not only our team but also Ateksis have played a major role in what is achieved with regard to Big Brother project. This is a project aired for 24/7. So, you cannot afford to make any mistake. We take action in company with Ateksis for all the technical endeavors. Ateksis has provided us with finger camera lenses imported from the United States. Purchasing some devices does not get it done on its own. It is not an easy task to concurrently run such devices. While the show was at the contemplation phase, we already began to contact with Ateksis. We established infrastructure and planned steps about what to do.


Technical Equipment In Every Inch of the House In Cooperation with Ateksis and Ozkan Production

Pointing to the Big Brother home as a project aired for 24/7, Mr. Özkan notes that all the cameras must be incessantly up and running with no failure and thus they opted for Sony cameras provided by Ateksis. Broadcast through robotic cameras, the TV show's residence is equipped with nearly 90 cameras.

Ateksis is a reputable company thanks to broadcasting products and its service mentality embraced by technical staff, says Mr. Özkanand tells of products he has been delighted with "Sony's robotic cameras have become much more functional in company with data infrastructure. Our operators are in effect without any trouble for operation. And Marshall cameras have performed better than expected. We have been provided with assistance by Ateksis for software. Multi-viewer software has made sure that some devices including data and video routers function in a smooth fashion.  What matters most to us has been Tally management. Axos has done a great job in multi-viewer tallies and the management of tallies for broadcast monitors handled by operators.

Big Brother Turkey's studio features a total of 110 cameras including 5 cameras with color night vision, 21 hidden cameras and 2 Jimmy Jibs. A technical team comprised of 180 professionals take office. The figure goes beyond 300 along with Endemol Shine's employees and suppliers.  Big Brother Turkey's home is followed by 30 monitors with 120 microphones. Designed as a result of an 8-month intensive effort, Big Brother Turkey's home is 3 thousand square meters in size. 5 thousand meters of LED light were put into use to light the house. In addition, a total of 35 thousand meters of cable were laid along with record, audio, image, electric and data cables for the cameras running within the house.
